Nigeria: Abuja’s New International Airport

We at SitiTalk were excited to do a tour of the new Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, especially after learning how much it cost Nigeria and bearing in mind that at least 500 million USD of the total cost was borrowed from China.

The SitiTalk team figured that being a spanking new airport, which was commissioned by the Nigerian president towards the end of 2018, that we were bound to be’ blown away’ in awe of what we would discover so soon after the commissioning and we hoped to take advantage of the ‘outstanding edifice’ before Nigeria’s government’s poor history of maintenance would set in.
