“Unbelievable But True” is a segment on “Power-Up With Uché”, which is a SitiTalkTV Production for SitiTalkBlog.

This episode of “Unbelievable But True” , “New Garki…Not A Place for Future Leaders…” focuses on 'New Garki', a sprawling urban slum in the heart of Enugu town in Enugu state, South East of Nigeria.

Typical of most slums, it is over-crowded with dilapidated housing units, poor infrastructure and sanitation and mostly populated by prostitutes, pimps, cattle rearers, transit truck drivers, petty criminals and more.

SitiTalkTV for SitiTalkBlog wanted to know what life is like in 'New Garki' and we got an amazing insight, when we met-up with an unlikely resident, Chinaza. A very intelligent, articulate and confident school girl, who agreed to share with us, about life in 'New Garki'.

‘All that glitters is indeed not gold’ and also true is the statement, ‘all that stinks is not necessarily bad’. Chinaza showed us, that even in this slum called 'New Garki', where we would not normally expect to find leaders, a star was found to be shining very brightly.

Watch this remarkable girl tell the story of 'New Garki', keeping in mind that this place is located in the heart of the capital of a state in Nigeria, where the governor is popularly referred to as the “people’s governor”.

The SitiTalkTV Team for SitiTalkBlog wishes you all a Wonderful 2019.

GOD Bless you all.

Enjoy!!!
