Deadly Persecution of Christians by Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists in Nigeria
In 2015, the Global Terrorism Index named Nigerian Fulani herdsmen (also regarded as militants) as fourth deadliest terror group in world.
The organization, Open Doors, ranks Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen, numbers 6 and 7, respectively, of the top 10 persecutors of Christians around the World today.
Open Doors continues to showcase ongoing persecution of Christians in Nigeria which the world seems to have overlooked.
Open Doors video below shows the aftermath of an attack by “militant Fulani herdsmen” in a predominantly Christian village in Southern Kaduna, Nigeria, and the atrocities they committed. This is just one account out of hundreds and thousands of similar vicious attacks by Fulani herdsmen terrorists in villages, cities, towns and states where Christians live in Nigeria.
Open Doors states, “In northern Nigeria’s Middle Belt area, the latest threat to Christian communities may arguably be even worse than Boko Haram: the Hausa-Fulani Muslim Herdsman. Clashes with militants among the predominantly Muslim group have claimed thousands of Christian lives as they raze entire villages and brutally kill and rape. However, unlike the atrocities and attacks of Boko Haram, Fulani violence has gone relatively unreported in national news headlines.”

Fulani herdsmen terrorists armed with AK-47s continue to rape, kill and destroy lives and property. Under the current President Buhari administration, the terrorists have grown bolder and increased their attacks, and yet they are hardly ever arrested or prosecuted. Many Nigerians believe and allege that the current Buhari administration is solidly in support of the Fulani herdsmen terrorists and their atrocious activities, since he has allowed them to continue to ravage lives and properties with impunity. It is unclear who is arming the Fulani herdsmen terrorists with sophisticated weapons such as AK-47s.
