Think Progres reports that, "Gambia is the third African country to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), following accusations that the tribunal focuses on persecuting and humiliating “people of colour, especially Africans.”

"Gambian officials criticized the court as the “International Caucasian Court.”"

"Gambian Information Minister Sheriff Bojang harshly criticized the ICC for failing to go after Westerners for war crimes, instead heavily focusing on Africans."
