“14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.” (2 Chronicles 7:14-15 New King James Version (NKJV))

This is what Nigeria as a country needs to initiate its journey of economic and social recovery. This recovery can only come through the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in the Name of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.

These words have been echoed by the Christian Association of Nigeria.

As reported by DailyPost Nigeria, "The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in North Central Zone, Rev. Israel Akanji, on Tuesday said God is willing to rescue Nigeria from recession when its leaders shun corruption, greed and bloodshed."

"Akanji, who is also the CAN Chairman in the Federal capital Territory, FCT, made the remark in Iwo, Osun State while addressing journalists.According to him, “Our nation, Nigeria, we have the hope that the recession we are in is just going to be short lived. God who owns and put this nation together who has continued to uphold this nation will definitely bring us out and place pure feet on the rock and put a new song in our mouth to sing."
