25 October 2016: Daily Post Nigeria reports that, "An elderly man was on Tuesday crushed to death by a speeding train along the Ogbete Market in Enugu metropolis...‎several people were also left with various degrees of injuries as the train which was in a high speed allegedly came to the area without hooting the horn."
