Similar to what Mr. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook Co-Founder and CEO stated during his visit to Nigeria, “I was highly impressed by the talent of the youths in the Co-creation Hub in Yaba. I was blown away by their talent and the level of energy that I saw"; Vanguard Nigeria reports that the Vice President of India Mohammed Hamid,"charged the federal government of Nigeria to recognise its enormous responsibilities in shaping the future of the country."
According to Vanguard Nigeria: "Hamid who stated this in a lecture at the University of Lagos, entitled 'Legacy of Indian Freedom Movement,’ said: “Nigeria and India, as large developing countries with multi-religious, multi-ethnic and multi-lingual societies, have enormous responsibilities within their countries and in shaping the future of their region and beyond."

Many Nigerians believe that former dictator and current President of Nigeria, Rtd. General Muhammadu Buhari is focused on his ethnicity preference of the Fulani Hausa and Islamic religious agenda. As such, they believe that Buhari is unable to operate positively and in a healthy thinking manner to energize and lead the country as a cohesive entity in the direction of earnest change. Indeed many Nigerians believe that his so-called new mantra, "Change begins with me" cannot be truly received as long as Buhari is the one sending the message since they also believe that his biased actions and policies that blatantly favor northern Nigeria, especially his own Fulani ethnicity, is a contradiction of true change especially in a multi-ethnic and religion setting such as in Nigeria.
