As we come to terms with the mystery and power of the Godly realm that has snared you away from us...As we wallow in the smothering sense of self pity and anxiety that your irrefutable absence has induced in us…And the aching acknowledgment that you will never now be spotted sitting in your favourite chair…We are forced to dig ever deeper into our fondest memories of you, and to rediscover our feelings of awe for the world you helped us to see and control…How do we approach life now that we have been officially bereaved of the very person who gave us so much cause for hope? In memory of you, we would do well to punctuate our calendar with celebrations in honour of the positive approach to life that you impressed upon us, looking back with tremendous gratitude to your life less ordinary… But always, we shall look forward, like you would have wanted us to, telling ourselves that there is a lot of life left, that there’s still a lot to be done in your living name, that there is, in your blessed memory, great cause for optimism… That there is, in our darkest hour, a coming, glowing epiphany…Rest ever, Dad!

Festus Okorie Watching my friend, Charles Aniagolu on Arise TV and always arrested by the degree professionalism which he employs in doing the interpretative and investigative reporting, leaves no one in doubt that he is the TRUE SON of this quintessential Judge, the Daniel of his times + Requiescat in pace+
